CME content will be appropriate to the target audience’s current or potential scope of professional activities and will be developed using the ACGME/ABMS core competencies in the context of desirable physician attributes. These educational activities will be relevant to medical knowledge, clinical performance, soundly performed research and/or patient outcomes.

Select jointly sponsored learning activities are also presented.

Expected Results (Changes in strategy, performance or patient outcomes)

By participating in the continuing medical education program the physicians and healthcare professionals will gain competency and/or improve performance, and provide higher quality of care so that the health status of the population will be improved. Additionally, efforts to evaluate and quantify the learning will be measured and a strategy to integrate results into future programming will be developed.
